I have recently had some issues with a coolant leak (amongst other things). This was my first time using EAS and was pleasantly surprised by the speed of turnaround and transparency during the fix. They have gained a customer!

I have been taking my BMWs to Jacob and his team at EAS for years, and they always do a fantastic job of taking care of me and my cars. Highly recommend European Automotive Specialists! I was told elsewhere that I would need a whole new engine, so I decided to get a second opinion. I’m so glad I did. They were honest, knowledgeable, and professional. Instead of replacing the engine, they found it just needed a thorough cleaning. After their work, my engine sounds amazing and my car is running smooth again. If you’re looking for trustworthy mechanics who actually care, this is the place to go!

I originally left a positive review because when I first picked up my Volkswagen, the engine light appeared to be off and I believed the issue had been fixed. I picked my car up on Friday, May 1st. However, the very next day, Saturday, May 2nd, the same issues returned while driving. I originally brought my vehicle in because it was cutting off in traffic, slowing down unexpectedly, showing a significant airflow-related code, and had an engine warning light on. I was told that the recommended engine cleaning/repair would fix the issue, stop the car from cutting off, and resolve the warning lights. Since the shop was closed over the weekend, I contacted them first thing Monday morning to report that the engine light and EPC warnings had already returned and the car was still losing power, speeding up and slowing down unexpectedly, and acting unsafe while driving. When I brought the car back under their warranty, the vehicle was checked and the engine light was temporarily off and no code was showing at that moment. However, I was told that if the issue returned, it was most likely the turbo or turbo gasket. As soon as I left and got on the freeway, the engine light and EPC warnings came back on immediately, and I contacted them right away. After spending $4,436.66, I was then given an additional estimate of $3,712.85 for turbo-related repairs, even though the original issue was still not resolved. In addition, after getting the vehicle back, I began experiencing additional sensor warnings and dashboard alerts. I was already dealing with a tire sensor light issue, but now I am receiving additional tire sensor warnings and other sensor-related alerts that were not present before the repair. At this point, I am sharing my updated experience because the original issue was not resolved.

I originally updated my review because after my first repair visit, the engine light and EPC warnings returned shortly after picking up my Volkswagen, and the vehicle was still experiencing drivability issues. However, I want to provide an updated review based on my most recent experience. I brought the vehicle back on Monday and worked directly with Jacob, the owner. He thoroughly test drove the vehicle, addressed the issue again, and reassured me they would get everything taken care of. Because of my initial experience, it was difficult to fully trust the situation at first, but I can honestly say the second experience felt very different dealing directly with the owner. Since getting my vehicle back Monday, I’ve continued driving it through Thursday and so far the engine light and EPC warning have not returned. The vehicle has been driving much better overall. I appreciate Jacob taking the time to stand behind the work and make things right, and I wanted to provide an honest update reflecting my experience after the follow-up repair.
